Beaver Buggy!
Hi Beavers!
It's that time of year again folks, it's Beaver Buggy time!!!! over the next 3 or 4 weeks we will be talking about and building buggies; your beaver will hopefully get pretty excited about building and racing his very own 2014 edition Beaver Buggy.
What is a Beaver Buggy, you ask? ...........it's kind of like a kub-kar, but without all of the pressure. When you first see it, it will be a mere block of wood, with some nails and wheels. Your Beaver (with your help) will turn these crude materials, into an awesome racing mobile. After march break,We will have a giant set of tracks setup in in our gym, and we'll be racing Buggies all evening. Tomorrow night in the gym we will decorate the buggies and have some playtime fun!

Reptiles?
This week we'll be having a fun time in the gym learning about REPTILES!! Tom Wellum, a certified herpetologist, will be visiting us with some of his scaly friends. Since Tom is offering us a reduced rate because we are a Beavers group, any donations to his programme are appreciated. Some supplies that he can always use are: paper towels, hand sanitizer, leafy vegetables (swiss chard, romaine lettuce, etc), and Ensure (meal replacement for sick lizards).
If you've never pet a snake, or handled a lizard, this might be your chance!!
